Recovery Point Achieves FedRAMP Ready
Recovery Point is pleased to announce that INcloudGov, its cloud-based disaster recovery offering for Federal agencies, has been approved by the FedRAMP PMO and is officially designated as FedRAMP Ready. Established in 2012, FedRAMP is a U.S. government-wide risk management program that provides a standardized approach to security assessment, authorization and continuous monitoring for cloud services among Federal agencies. It is one of the most complex and rigorous compliance programs an organization can undertake. FedRAMP has helped expedite the adoption of cloud-based solutions for many agencies and enables cost savings by eliminating duplicate agency security assessments of vendor cloud-based services.
Recovery Point is now among a select group of cloud service providers in the United States whose services have successfully undergone the rigorous FedRAMP readiness review. This designation underscores Recovery Point’s consistent focus on a broad portfolio of highly secure compliance-based cloud services. Substantially identical security controls and compliance procedures are engineered into Recovery Point’s commercial cloud services. As a result, commercial clients enjoy similar security benefits.
