Recovery Point Systems Launches M365 Backup & Recovery, Powered by Veeam

Germantown, MD – March 14, 2023 – Recovery Point Systems, an Abry Partners company and a leader in cloud-based business resilience services based in Germantown, is pleased to announce the launch of M365 Backup & Recovery, Powered by Veeam, adding yet another client-friendly option to its award-winning managed disaster recovery portfolio.

Microsoft states clearly that for its hosted suite of M365 services it remains the client’s responsibility to include a backup service, should they want long-term retention and the ability to retrieve deleted data.

In response, Recovery Point now offers a means for its clients to reliably and securely backup, search, and restore data from any and all of Microsoft’s SharePoint Online, Teams, OneDrive for Business, and Exchange Online services. Accessed through Recovery Point’s self-serve client portal, the underlying data mover technology is provided by Veeam, a leader in modern data protection. Client data is saved using Object Storage into and restored from Recovery Point’s Tier III Certified Secure Data Centers, backup jobs are monitored by RPS, and all data at rest and in transit is encrypted.
