Dick Fordham – Director of Marketing and Strategy

Dick Fordham brings extensive experience in the disaster recovery industry to Recovery Point. As one of the founders of the IBM Business Recovery Services unit in the United Kingdom in the early 1980s, Dick was responsible for the development of trading recovery solutions for major London-based and foreign banks. He also held various senior positions with IBM in Europe and in the U.S. during a career spanning nearly 30 years, including Global Marketing Manager for IBM Recovery Services and a tenure in Paris to manage marketing for IBM Global Services, where he was responsible for five regions and 32 countries.

After returning to the U.S. in 2002, Dick spent six years developing new services and markets for IBM as part of its worldwide expansion of the IBM BCRS unit, including an assignment in the management team responsible for the acquisition of Arsenal Digital. Dick joined Recovery Point in 2008 to direct all aspects of marketing, strategy and offering development.
