Recovery Point Recognized in Gartner’s Market Guide for DRaaS
Gartner has released its 2022 Market Guide for Disaster Recovery as a Service. Recovery Point, a disaster recovery as a service provider, was selected as one of three firms in a distinguished group known as Evolved Traditional DR Providers. Vendors noted in this group are historically well known for traditional disaster recovery and demonstrate evolved service offerings.
In the 2022 Market Guide, Gartner defines the DRaaS market as a standalone offering that “provides for the recovery of enterprise applications at another location in the event of a disaster.”
This year’s Market Guide also includes a tool to identify and evaluate potential DRaaS providers based on platform requirements, location and service types.
Recovery Point was recognized for our capability to support complex heterogeneous environments, including IBM Mainframe, IBM i, AIX, HPUX and Solaris as well as physical and virtual x86.
One key finding by Gartner is that “Leading DRaaS providers are continuing their efforts to differentiate by providing options for application-level recovery, cyber-related recovery and support for cloud workloads.”
Recovery Point’s Business Process Resilience solution provides automated server-level and application-level recovery in combination with automated and supported training exercises to provide visibility, i.e., actionable insights, into your real Recovery Time Objectives (RTOs).
