Overview of Alcatel-Lucent Mobile IP Desktop SoftPhone

The Alcatel-Lucent IP Desktop SoftPhone is a Windows application that emulates a physical Alcatel-Lucent IPTouch  phone on a desktop PC. The IP SoftPhone includes all of the features of a desktop  IP Touch phone, including the ability to login as a call center agent. The IP SoftPhone application makes use of a PC headset, or microphone and speakers for audio. Remote access is provided by a secure VPN connection via SSL client. Each SoftPhone is assigned a virtual phone extension which is specified during the client install.
