Recovery Point provides a wide range of “Smart Hands” services to save clients from sending their valuable staff to our sites to perform routine tasks. Typical Smart Hands services are shown below.

  • Provide remote network access to client equipment 
  • Track incoming and outgoing shipments of equipment
  • Receive, unpack and rack equipment
  • Provide circuit extensions from DMARCs to client racks
  • Provision WAN circuits per client requirements
  • Coordinate and provision power and network requirements for equipment 
  • Move or secure cables per client provided instructions and diagrams
  • Provide security escort for hardware vendors in restricted data center space 
  • Provide media handling, including shipping, receiving and storage management
  • Push a button or toggle a switch to power cycle client equipment
  • Visual verification to assist client’s remote troubleshooting efforts
  • Plug in a client-owned console port for remote management 
  • Type client-provided commands
  • Swap of pre-labeled, removable media 
  • Installing client-provided software (default configuration) using client scripts
  • Executing other client-provided instructions
