Dick Fordham – Director of Marketing and Strategy
Dick Fordham brings extensive experience in the disaster recovery industry to Recovery Point. He was trained at the Chartered Institute of Marketing in the United Kingdom and held various senior positions with IBM in Europe and in the US during a career spanning nearly 30 years. Dick was one of the founders of the IBM Business Recovery Services unit in the United Kingdom in the early 1980s, and was responsible for the development of trading recovery solutions for major London-based and foreign banks. Following an international assignment to the US as Global Marketing Manager for IBM Recovery Services, Dick returned to IBM EMEA HQ in Paris to manage marketing for IBM Global Services, with responsibility for five regions and 32 countries.
Returning to the US in 2002, Dick spent the next six years developing new services and markets for IBM as part of its worldwide expansion of the IBM BCRS unit, including an assignment in the management team responsible for the acquisition of Arsenal Digital. Dick joined Recovery Point in 2008 to direct all aspects of Marketing, Strategy and Offering Development.
