Recovery Point’s off-site data storage vaults are certified to the most stringent industry and government requirements for physical security. They are completely surrounded by ferromagnetic plating to create fully shielded enclosures that protect media against data erasure from external magnetic interference. They are certified to meet the requirements of NFPA232: Standard for The Protection of Records, and are built to six-hour fire resistance standards utilizing all U.L. and NFPA-approved materials and methods. FM200 gas fire suppression systems with reserve agent supplies protect customer media while in storage, while fire-rated and environmentally controlled loading docks provide protection from outside temperatures during transport. Certified vault storage is provided exclusively for magnetic media to eliminate any risk of contamination from paper records.
