Recovery Point is a carrier-neutral provider and offers direct cross-connects to virtually any interexchange carrier as well as direct access into hundreds of lit buildings throughout the region.  Recovery Point is provisioned with a private campus backbone network across redundant facilities in Gaithersburg and Germantown, MD using multiple geographically diverse dark fiber rings. Redundant edge extensions have been built from these facilities into major peering points spread 30 miles apart using dark fiber and high-speed protected transport.

Dual fiber DMARCs spread a minimum of 300 feet apart from these facilities are connected into both Recovery Point locations. The internal core backbone is powered by fully meshed 10GB Alcatel 9700 Omni network switches.
