Hot Site:
Hot Site technology encompasses a diverse array of current hardware, from Z9 mainframe to mid-range offerings like pSeries, Wintel and virtually everything in between. A comprehensive inventory of high-end storage systems is available on demand, as are nearly all current peripherals from stand-alone tape systems to multiple automated tape libraries supporting LTO-2, 3 & 4, STK 9840, IBM 3590/3592 and many other technologies. A series of fully equipped recovery/test suites and award-winning support teams are available to support the most rigorous testing programs. Recovery Point is organized to minimize unnecessary layers of bureaucracy often found at larger vendors and to enhance customer service. We provide close, personal support to all customers and ready access to our top-level management team of seasoned industry veterans, who have on average over 20 years experience in a variety of DR disciplines. Our ratio of full-time technical support to customers is the best in the industry and we are staffed and provisioned to provide generous and convenient testing schedules.
Cold Site:
Fully provisioned Cold Site facilities with redundant electrical, mechanical and network infrastructure are available to support customers who experience a long-term business disruption. To facilitate a transition from Hot Site services, the Cold Site facilities have been installed on the same physical network as the primary Hot Site facilities. Cold Site infrastructure is customized to each customer’s unique specifications. Recovery Point will assist in the design, procurement and implementation of virtually any environment required for extended operations.
Work Area:
Recovery Point sets the national standard for Work Area design and provides complete environments in which customers can recover efficiently and comfortably. We offer hundreds of fully equipped end user positions at multiple facilities, complemented by private offices, strategy rooms, satellite TV, electronic whiteboards, copiers, shredders, fax machines and printers. Every Work Area recovery position is served by multiple Tier 1 network providers. There are fully equipped cafes in common areas and kitchenettes in each recovery suite. Multiple conference rooms that accommodate up to 20 people are available as well as private sleeping berths and showers for those who must remain on site for extended periods. Hundreds of private parking spaces are provided at every site.
