GAITHERSBURG, MD; March 1
2010 - Recovery Point, a leading national provider of integrated business
continuity solutions to government agencies and commercial and non-profit
organizations has completed the installation of an additional IBM z9 Enterprise
Class Mainframe.
In the Disaster Recovery industry, Mainframe based hot-site
service requirements are on the rise, according to Rick Schwitzer, VP of Sales.
“We have made significant investments in our facilities and service
infrastructure over the last year, the latest being the installation of an
additional Mainframe to support growing client demand,” says Rick. “I don’t
believe any service provider can accurately claim to be in the hot-site
services business if they are not able to provide the whole range of technology
platforms, including Mainframes,” concludes Rick.
Offering Mainframe recovery services puts Recovery Point in
an elite group of only three services providers nationwide and continues to
support the rapid expansion of services to support clients across the
United States. This, in addition to recent Tier III certification from the
Uptime Institute and the planned upgrade of Recovery Points' Private Cloud
Network to optical, means that clients can access all services cost
effectively from anywhere, and have them delivered from the most secure and
resilient commercially available facilities in the country.
