Mike Cormack brings a substantial background of senior management experience in the application of advanced technologies and the global exchange and investments industries to his membership on the Recovery Point Board of Directors.

 

As Executive Vice President at NYSE Euronext, Mike oversaw the electronic equity business for the for-profit operators of the New York Stock Exchange, Euronext and NYSE Arca. He joined NYSE Euronext when the New York Stock Exchange executed the historic merger with Archipelago Holdings through which the NYSE became a public company. Before that, Mike was president of Archipelago, where he was responsible for sales and operations and helped to take the firm into the public markets in 2004.

 

Mike is currently an investment advisor with Renewal2, an early stage venture capital fund that invests in “triple bottom line” private companies: for-profit enterprises that also have strong social and environmental missions. He began his career at American Century Mutual Funds in Kansas City in 1991 where he became manager of equity trading. Currently Mike also serves on the boards of SPUD.com, Aquatics Informatics and Ecojustice Canada.
